We had such a nice Christmas together with our Barcelona people :D Ceci, Charlie, Guillem and the funny Stefano.

Here we stopped in small town to get some gas and lunch.

The nature did not stop amazing us.

If you ever hear Mart saying that he does not like kids, well, there is a proof against it.
It is quite usual to drink freshly squeezed juice from plastic bags :D Our super nice group on the way to the Pampas.

La Paz is just an incredible place where tradition, rituals and magic braids with a capitalistic society.

Just outside the city one can get lost in the "moon like valley". Tihuanaco, the ancestors of the Incas and Aymara cultures, was one of the most amazing cultures that lived on the southern continent. Cultivators of more than 400 types of potatoes, performers of brain surgeons and readers of stars, Tihuanaco built big pyramids and carved in stones of more than 20 tones.

These four pics really represent Bolivia seen by many travelers. A picture next to the Evo Morales president, of whom Bolivians seem to be very proud.

These surroundings really made us feel part of Dali´s paintings... In fact, Dali got inspired from this very desert.

And here we start another road, another country, another almost virgin nature - Bolivia.
It is just a spectacular feeling seeing all these animals and birds about which you´ve been reading since a kind.

The picture should be quite relevant to the "Silver Mines in Potosi" entry.

As already said, we had a great time in Salta.We wandered through the streets of small villages, visited their cemeteries, wondered about their culture, got amazed by the beauty of the nature and went on with living the dream.

The coolest thing: playing football in the evening against the villagers - on 4100m.
And meeting the lovely children.
And seeing flamingos fly right over you...
